It was a harsh reality; without my Dad as the leader, Lunar Furs became vulnerable, not just from outsider threats but from the council itself. Their whispers grew louder, and they questioned my decision at every turn. The pack needed a reliable leader and I had to rise above my own grief.

I knew that Tyronne McBride, the Alpha’s son I was supposed to marry didn’t want the marriage to proceed, but I needed his help. It was a risky and selfish proposition because I had betrayed him by surrendering my heart and body to another, but desperate times called for desperate measures.
