I thought the situation I would find upon my return to Lunar Furs would be heartbreaking, but I was surprised to see many construction workers busy constructing new houses. I looked at Daddy, shrugged, then shifted my gaze to Henry, who just smiled.

As soon as we entered the entrance of our territory, the members of Lunar Fursalmost went wild with excitement. They ran towards us, scrutinizing Daddy's appearance because, like me, they believed that my father, our Alpha, had died. Most of all, they were amused by the young child I was carrying.

Perhaps Jillian was just adjusting or she naturally felt comfortable with the members of Lunar Furs. The child laughed until a lady approached us. I furrowed my brow before recognizing her. She used to be Claire's companion, and speaking of Claire, I needed to find her. I really missed her.
