Chapter 39

Ascian’s body went numb, he was the reason for everything. She’s like this because of him. His heart knew that no matter what he did or how hard he tried to fix the thing he did, there was no way to heal her and take the pain he caused her back.

He looked at her, he could feel her, her heart beat and everything but he knew she could not feel him because her wolf was not in her anymore. He raised his arm and wiped her tears and pulled her to a hug.

He hugged her against his chest, his heart was aching for her and for what he did to her. She didn’t deserve that for loving him and he never expected something like this would happen to her. If he ever had a clue that it would make her wolf leave her, he would never reject her.

“You’re a bastard Ascian. I feel like killing you”

She was crying as she spoke. He felt that his shirt was getting wet because of her tears. He smiled and patted her back wanting to comfort her.
