Until then, nothing else had been said, but Hayoon watched how her father looked at her. Gradually, JoonHo's eyes filled up and the tip of his nose, already red from the cold, started to get even more crimson.
The father sat there and touched his son's face. Her heart shuddered at too many feelings.
Her smile came to life. His embrace was almost instinctive.
Hayoon groaned in pain, but touched her father, feeling him be lighter, but without ceasing the touch.
His eyes were now on JaeHwa. I was surprised most of all. He didn't understand why his father was there, nor why he looked so tired and relieved at the same time.
"I asked so much for this." JoonHo finally let go of him, but he was still close enough for Hayoon to see the tears that were leaving his face.
That wasn't JoonHo, but that selfish feeling didn't surprise anyone, as it was shared by everyone there as well.
