Chapter 91

Brandon stood anxiously by the grand door, his feet tapping. The council members were inside, and Conaan, on his way. He wondered how he had gotten there befoore him. But obviously, Conaan was up to no good.

The morning was rather late and gloomy, the dark clouds rumbling across the skies and stretching as they slowly covered the last inkling of light. It reminded him of Conaan's greatest massacre still, the day he had realized his friend was an absolute beast.

Brandon shuddered from the memory alone. It was a dark day like this, and it was heavily pouring accompanied by heavy wind. The war grounds were littered heavily with bodies and blood that ran with the falling water. Then, he has feared Conaan was amongst them.
