Jade POV

We got to the house finally and the car came to a halt. I was in a better mood than I was before we left and I had Saint to thank for that. 

I glanced at him as he made to open the door and held his arm stopping him. 

He turned to look at me. “Uhmm... I just wanted to thank you. I actually feel much better than I did the past few days. 

He gave me a quick smile,” It's good then if you loved today” I replied. 

He turned to go out again when I stopped him for a second time.” One last thing.” I told him, contemplating if it was right to actually say what I had in mind. 

“Yeah?” He said looking at me as he waited for me to talk. 

“Marcel called.” I found myself blurting out immediately. “Earlier today.”

I watched him waiting for a response from him or a reaction or to ask me what he said or where he was hiding. Instead, he nodded.
