Chapter 36

Jade POV

“I slipped,” I replied looking into his eyes as his horrified expression stared back at me. I sat on the floor, the slight pain I felt in the lower part of my waist making it a bit hard to get up. 

“Did you get hurt? You're covered in blood!” He said hastily scanning my body while checking for the injury quickly. “You've lost a lot. Where're you bleeding from? Did you hit your head?!” 

“Saint,” I said gently holding up my coloured palms to his face. “It's hair dye.”

I saw his knitted brows loosen up slowly. “Hair dye?” He asked observing the splatters on the sink, mirror and my towel again. 

I nodded. “Yeah,” I replied pointing to my hair. “The colour was starting to fade away.”

His eyes shifted to my hair as if he was still trying to process the whole thing that had happened. I looked around the bathroom and indeed it seemed like a crime scene. The first portion of dye I had planned to use had fallen off my han
