Jade POV

We sat across from each other and I turned around once more to look around the empty restaurant and back at him. 

“You mean you reserved the whole place?” I asked him finally. 

He looked amused as he watched me. “Yeah.”

I looked around again. “Why?” 

“You're with me. Thought it would make you comfortable. And also I don't want to put you in danger again.” He replied. 

He was doing all this for me? 

“You don't do it normally?” I asked to confirm if he was. 

“Why wouldn't I?” He replied with a slightly raised eyebrow. “I don't like eating or shopping in crowded places either.” 

Of course, he wasn't doing it for me. What was I thinking? This was his normal life and I was the one who wasn't used to it. 

“You did that at your aunt's boutique too?” I asked finally realizing why the place was empty the two times I'd been there. 

He nodded nonchalantly.
