Chapter 61. A Secret Ally

Luca’s POV

It felt like the anger had planted a seed in my chest, and I couldn’t get away from it. Dominic had crossed a line this time. Each passing second of not knowing where Leila was like the knife inside of me twisted just a little more. He thinks he can just hide her; he thinks he is in control of every piece on the board. But I wasn’t just another pawn. Not anymore.
