KAMIL'S POV

KAMIL HAS BEEN CONCOCTING how to kidnap Old Woman. Or if she put up a fight, her hands and attach it to his kitchen. She has ruined him for himself. And by afterglow on Precious' face, he must be thinking the same.

"I think you should bite her and make her one of us."

"We're not vampires. She'll die."

"You never know. An Alpha can do anything, right?"

"I could adopt her. It won't be unheard of, having an adopted grandma?"

On cue, they glint their fangs in the silver light of the moon and the stupidity of what they've just done causes them to turn to their sides laughing.

It is a few minutes past eight. Mechanic has come, towed their car and promises to bring it the next morning. Old Woman tired herself out cooking the old village for them and has retired early.
