Chapter 60. Birthday Cake

Precious is acting strange. He has been acting strange for a couple of days but today has topped the weirdness chart. He is acting so unlike himself and though Kamil had joked about a Precious imposter, he genuinely thinks there is an imposter in his body.

At first, Kamil had found it cute. The first day of the strangeness, Precious hadn't wanted him to leave. They spent all morning snuggling, dozing in and out of sleep and idly chatting.

Even when they had parted ways, Precious had found him less than an hour later and insisted they eat together. Precious stole that day for himself.

The second day had been more or less the same except for the little details of Precious constantly complaining that his chest hurts. Doc had found nothing wrong with him and both the Doc and Kamil had ganged up on Precious to snatch dome sleep in the sickbay.
