Indigo's POV (Alpha Constellation's mate)

SWEET CANDY LOOKS FROM the food unceremoniously dropped on the cemented ground to Indigo towering over her. It's good the Shifter has a bit of common sense: her hesitant not to eat the food.

Indigo should feel disrespected but she smiles at it. She smiles that Sweet Candy believes she is capable of poisoning her. That is good. That is fear she can exploit.

Using her big toe, she stretches the plate to the Shifter but she shakes her head and turns it away. The lilac gown she wears pools around her feet as she drops to her hunkers, arms loosely crossed on her knees.

"Aren't you hungry? Eat to get your strength. Those wounds looks painful."

Sweet candy shakes her head again, shrinking backwards.

"Should I tell Constellation you refused?" when she whips her head, Indigo continues. "That's right. Constellation asked me to bring a plate. Should I take it back?"
