I know. She's more than your friend. I almost rolled my eyes. “Okay.” I mumbled, looking out of the window.

Soon we reached someone's house and after parking the car, Max opened the gate for me. I hesitated a little but somehow managed to pull up a fake smile at my face. It's okay I can do this.

“Don't worry, they'll love you.” He assured, holding my hand and walking inside the house.

“Yeah, right. I'm Erica White not Cassie Fox who'd be loved by everyone.”
