Adele’s POV

"Bianca was the love of my life", Chris started and my eyes widened instantly.

I was not expecting that at all. Chris had someone he loved? Why did he get married to me then?

"Oh", I replied to him and he continued.

"I thought even if I had to get married to someone, it would be her. Everyone knew us. Everyone who knew us together would always praise and tell us how good we looked together. They called us the perfect match back then; a handsome bachelor and a beautiful model. We fitted each other so well", Chris said with a chuckle as he looked up at me before taking his gaze off me quickly.

"We were in love, or so I thought. I guess I was the only one in love all along", Chris commented and his face suddenly went into a frown.
