Chapter 24. Meeting Bianca

Adele’s POV

I stared at the lady sitting not very far away from me and my lips twitched. She really is beautiful. No wonder Chris was in love with her. And her poise is another thing, she carries herself in a way I wouldn't. So elegant and affluent.

"Four million dollars", I heard another voice say I turned away from Bianca's direction.

An older lady is holding her placard up as she just said that.

"Five million dollars", Chris said as he raised our bidder card up and a smile crept onto my face.

Even if this handsome man beside me loves Bianca, he is still my husband. He is- mine.

"Five point five million dollars", Bianca said and I growled internally.

"Five point seven million dollars", the other woman said and I sighed. I guess I am not getting that set then.

"Six million dollars", Bianca's voice came again.

"Six point five million dollars", the older woman said again.

"Seven million dollars", Bianca quickly said loudly.
