Chapter 51. Happy Birthday, Baby

Adele's POV

It took a long while and Chris still isn't back from wherever it is that he went to. I have finished unpacking my clothes as well as his and placed them in the closet already. 

I walked out of the room to have a sip of water and I sighed after I was done drinking. I went back into the bedroom before picking up my phone from the bed. 

I searched for Chris's number and called it and to my dismay, I heard that familiar ringtone resounding loudly in the room. 

I looked around with my eyes wide open and there it was, the joggers Chris had worn to this place. I walked to it before picking it up from the floor. I searched the pockets and there it was, Chris's phone. 

Gosh! I feel like I am going crazy right now. 

I gripped the phone tightly in my hand as I glared down at it with a short hiss.
