Adele's POV

"Veronica remembered it's my birthday today," I said as I tried cutting my steak with the knife.

"Oh," Chris replied and I nodded. 

I brought the steak to my mouth before turning to look at Chris. 

"It is weird that nobody remembers it," I notified as I chew and Chris chuckled loudly. 

I clicked on the screen of my phone that is on the table and the phone came alive. I still have no notification from any of the social networks I am on. How can that be?

"What's so amusing?" I inquired with a raised brow. 

"Nothing," he said as he looked down at his plate.

"Chris," I called out and he looked at me immediately. 

He stared at me for a long time before finally admitting, "I turned off your wifi this morning"
