Chapter 73. Close Your Eyes

Adele's POV

The front door clicked open and my gaze went to it immediately. Chris walked in with an expressionless face but his face brightened up when his eyes landed on me. 

I feel like I know something else that could cheer him up from a long day at work. 

"Welcome home, hubby!" I screamed joyfully before shooting up from my seat.  

I went to meet him immediately and took his work suitcase from his hand. 

"What's wrong? Is it me or are you so happy right now?" Chris asked with a grin on his face and I stopped in front of him properly. 

"I am always happy all the time," I replied and he raised a brow at me instantly. 

"I disagree," he replied and I rolled my eyes playfully at him before going to his back. 

I dropped my hand on his shoulders from behind pulling off his suit jacket from him. 

"Ooh, I feel like I know where this is going," Chris started saying so eagerly with a big toot
