Chapter 151
Jamison could not believe that they were behaving childishly. Who in their right mind has this kind of drama in front of the court? Why won't they take the drama somewhere else? Why must it be here too, for lawyers they were surely behaving foolishly; he knew clients could be excused when they fight or argue outside the court, but he knew that lawyers should know better than carrying something that could be settled somewhere else.
Jamison knew that if he didn't say what he said to them, they were going to keep bickering, and he didn't need that; he needed to fasten up with the case because of what his supervisor told him; he wasn't ready to let go of this case, and if he doesn't hasten up they were willing to close it, he knew that Leroy could sense that something was wrong, he was going to tell him but not now.
Jamison was waiting patiently for the court to resume and for Dante's James and Trish when he noticed that his phone was vibrating;
