Chapter 155

Trish’s POV

Trish knew that it was going to be inevitable for the Judge not to ask about what happened yesterday; if he didn't ask, she would know that they were really putting the judge on a pedestal that he wasn't really in. She had heard stories about how he was fair and Just, and she hoped he was going to apply that in his Judgment today.

Trish could see that the Judge was getting angry because nobody wanted to reply to his questions, but she knew that she hadn't started any of the drama. She was just angry that she was seeing Jason and Kitty in the court when they were not supposed to be here. She didn't like surprises, and this wasn't the positive kind of surprise, so she wasn't going to keep silence and pretend that she liked it when she knew she didn't like it or felt comfortable with it.
