James saw how Jamison and Leroy were looking at him as if they saw a ghost; he wasn't a ghost. He was just a person who wanted to come and apologize for what he did to Leroy; he needed to because it was eating him up, and if he didn't apologize, it was going to keep eating him till he wouldn't be able to control himself anymore, he wasn't ready for that, he already heard Jamison tell Leroy that he wanted to talk to him, but he felt he was more important, he knew he was risking being penalized for him being here, but he didn't care anymore, he wanted to talk to Leroy, and he wasn't going to allow anybody away him from what he wanted to say, Not Jamison, The Judge or even the rules and regulation guiding the law court.

James knew Judge Peterson was looking at him; he could feel his gaze on him, but he didn't care anymore, caring about what people thought had never been his fault; that was why he had been moving forward in his life. People were
