Kitty wondered what was happening in the courtroom and how everybody would be looking at her when she finally got herself and decided to go back; she couldn't hear anything because the courtroom was a distance from where cars were packed; she didn't even know if there was a commotion inside the court or not when she left the courtroom she didn't even bother to look back to see the emotions or feelings on the face of the rest, she didn't want anybody to know about her condition, not now because she wasn't ready to come out of her shell for the whole world to see her and know her.
