Kitty and Jason’s POV

Kitty wasn't ready to stay alone; she didn't want to be in her room. After James left, she decided not to wait for Jason to return, so she removed her clothes and went to take a bath because she felt she still had the police station smell on her and wanted to get rid of it. She heard when Jason came in but was surprised he left. He came to check up on her; she was sure of that, but why did he leave without doing so? Maybe he changed his mind, or he thought there was nothing going on between them. She was going to confront him, not because she wanted a fight, but because she wanted to know why he left without seeing her.

Kitty had the feeling that it might have been her cold attitude towards him that might have made him decide not to be with her again.
