Chapter 27

Kitty’s POV

Kitty woke up with a smile on her face because she dreamt about the repeated version of what happened between her and Jason yesterday night. She turned around and saw him sleeping peacefully; she couldn't and wouldn't disturb him because he looked so serene, and she didn't want to disrupt whatever he was dreaming about.

Kitty knew she had to wake him up so they could face the order of the day, but she didn't want to go anywhere; maybe they could just sleep in today and let the world decide what to do without them.

She sighed and decided to go back to being in Jason's arms. She lay back silently, but obviously, she wasn't quiet about it because Jason stirred.

"Kitty, you woke up without waking me up," Jason said, still partially dizzy.

Kitty started smiling uncontrollably because she didn't know if he was joking or serious; she didn't wake him up because she wasn't ready to face reality.<
