Jason couldn't sleep. He was tossing and turning because he didn't know how he was going to apologize to Kitty for forgetting about her entirely. He didn't know what he was thinking when he got angry at her because she didn't call him back before calling other people.

It didn't sit well with him until Leroy talked about it. He was going to apologize to her as soon as he saw that she was awake. He was really furious with her because there was no way he could forget her, but he wanted to get to the root of the problem.

He understood that she was worried, but he knew he was safe. However, the little girl who entered the cafeteria was not safe, and he had the urge to protect her. He was ready to give her that protection until she could find her footing. He was going to talk to Kitty about what he learned from the little girl. He wanted her opinion on how he could help her because he really wanted to help her.
