James was surprised when Trish rejected his dinner proposal. From the first time he knew her and saw her, he had always known she was a go-getter, and he liked that quality in a woman. However, she started doing things the wrong way, and it got out of hand because everyone thought she was promiscuous.

The first time he met Trish was at the wedding of one of the most decorated senators' sons in the Seoul district. She appeared like a wallflower, and although everyone wanted to talk to her, she wasn't engaging. James almost approached her, but he was busy attending to dignitaries.
