Chapter 28. Beverley Drunk and Flirting with Brent

“Let’s try again,” Brent said without taking his attention off the woman in front of him.

Beverley looked angrily at the man. However, now they were in the center of the room. If she made a scene, it would attract the attention of many people.

Finally, she placed her hands on Brent’s shoulders again. She gave the man a sharp look. “Don’t mess around, Brent,” she said warningly.

This time, Brent became more serious. He refrained from doing anything bad to Beverley.

They went back to dancing to the music. After a few rounds, Beverley could finally keep up with Brent. She was happy that she could finally dance well enough.

A while later, the dance was finally over. People enjoyed their wine while chatting and joking. Some people also used the event to build business relationships.

Meanwhile, Beverley ran off to the toilet after finishing her dance with Brent. She didn’t want Michael to ask her to do anything else that would bring her closer to Brent.
