Chapter 36. Are You Wet?

Beverley’s car pulled into the parking lot of a skyscraper. This building was Brent’s office. She took a deep breath, then grabbed her bag and the file Brent wanted.

She got out of the car and noticed the tall building in front of her. The walls were built with thick black glass. It looked modern.

At the bottom of the building was a big ElassenSpace Holdings sign. It was the name of the company headed by Brent. Beverley knew from her father, who had worked for Michael in the past.

At the entrance to the lobby, several people were bustling in and out. They paid no attention to Beverley, which made her feel more comfortable. It was also not break time, so the office employees were busy with their work.
