Mr. Neil was a little bewildered, but when he saw Mona’s face, he knew he had said something wrong and hastily apologized and departed.
Mr. Miller also seemed a little ashamed. Mona grinned and added, “Conan is right. People should cook for themselves, not to make other people happy.”
Leo looked at her closely.
Mr. Neil rushed back to the kitchen and questioned his followers, “What happened to the boss and his wife?” Did they fight?”
Conrad, the most talkative cook at Tasty Delight Restaurant, couldn’t believe what Mr. Neil said.
”Boss got divorced five years ago and is getting married again soon.”
Mr. Neil knew he had said something wrong. It’s not surprising that the mood back then was so strange. The director asked Mr. Neil to come into a private room before he could ask any further questions.
