“Fiancée?” Sydney gasped in disbelief and turned to gaze at Leo next to her.

Leo’s face got gloomy and sad. “Mr. Gray must be kidding. When did you become engaged? We didn’t hear anything about it,” Leo remarked, looking at Mona with a hint of seriousness.

He imagined Mona was still the innocent girl who would quickly explain things and calm him down at the least grimace. He didn’t know that she hadn’t even looked at him; she had just looked at Conan and said, “Why are you here?” Her usual behavior spoke it all.
