Chapter 8

Mona knew something was wrong right away when she went outdoors that night. People around her seemed to be pointing at her without her knowing, but once she looked their direction, they would move away and act like nothing had happened.

She was ready to go to the store when Conan called and told her to stop. “Don’t go out; someone has put your address online! Stay home; I’m on my way to grab you right now!” Conan’s voice was full of urgency, which made it evident that the issue was serious.

Mona also seemed sad. It would be difficult for anyone on the internet to find her address in such a short amount of time, unless someone leaked it on purpose. It wasn’t hard to figure out who it might be.

She didn’t want to fight fate, so she turned around and headed back. But then two men who looked sketchy stopped her. Their eyes moved over her body without shame. “You’re the mistress, right? You do appear interesting.”

”How about having some fun with us?” One of them m
