I raised my head and rubbed my sleepy eyes to see James standing at the door, one foot in and the other outside.

With a frown I sat up as my mind began to race. “Did something happen? What's going on?” What time was it?

He shook his head and walked in fully, closing the door behind him. “Good morning to you too,” he teased with a smirk and I raised a brow. “Okay okay, I know this might be weird for you,”
