I carried Lillian in my arms the moment she passed out. I took her out of the cave and led her back to Alpha’s Fury Packhouse.

Arsenio met me when I was carrying her to the packhouse. He had been running toward us.

“Fuck, what happened?” He panted heavily.

“Lillian is wounded. We need to get her treated at the packhouse.”

“Did she fight the demon all by herself?” he asked, staring down at Lillian before shifting his gaze back to me.

I nodded. “She fought that beast all by herself, and we weren’t there to help.”

“We need to hurry and get her treated,” he suggested, exhaling heavily.
