‘It’s not true.’
‘Why would Freya lie to you? She isn’t a cold hearted person.’
‘And my daughter is not a murderer, Silver.’
‘Be reasonable Rufus, we know Sienna has been acting strange, perhaps you should have better faith in our mate.’
‘Of course I have faith in Freya, but my Sienna is not a killer and I know there’s been a misunderstanding somewhere…’
I felt so torn. I was refusing to believe Freya, my own wife. The person I trusted the most had provided information to me that I was flat out accusing she was wrong in.
‘I feel sick,’ I said to Silver, ‘What shall I do? What CAN I do?’
‘Just work this out with Freya to begin with,’ Silver replied, his words wise and welcoming as always ‘We will all figure this out, I promise.’
‘Don’t let me down Silver,’ As soon as I spoke these words to my wolf, I felt the insane pressure I was putting on him. Of course I didn’t expect him to single handedly have the answers
