Chapter 168. Siblings
Milo’s POV
“What a day,” I murmured to myself as I began to switch off some lights toward the back of the bar. Today has been back breaking, now the students were back into town, they were relentless and already wanted to party all night.
‘I remember when you used to want to party until the early hours,’ My wolf joked in my mind ‘Now you’re a snorefest.’
‘I’m just not that young anymore,’ I responded with a smile ‘I’m already dreaming about being in my bed now.’
It was then that my eyes became distracted by a shape moving at the front door. I knew I had locked it, so if it was a drunk looking for somewhere to consume more alcohol, they definitely weren’t welcome.
“We’re closed!” I said, not taking my eyes from the Cash register as I began to add up the takings.
“Milo!” The person called my name and banged on the glass. The mention of my name caused a distraction, and taking my eyeline toward the stranger, I recognized her instantly.
