Freya’s POV

Whatever happened after the fire consumed me, I couldn’t recall. My mind had drawn a complete blank.

As my eyes opened, I saw the silhouette close to me and as I focused I recognized Sienna looking down at me.

“Freya?” She asked, her eyes illuminated as she spoke my name. “Can you hear me?”

“Yeah,” I said as I croaked my words. “Where am I?”

I knew from my surroundings I wasn’t in the manor any longer. The scent in the air smelt pleasant and I was glad not to have my nose burning with that deathly stench.

“You’re at home,” Sienna said. “Do you remember what happened?”

As my eyes focused on Sienna, I noticed her face was back to its usual pretty self. Warmth began to fill my body and I felt my heart dance at the sight of Sienna.
