Chapter 18. Good, Bad Wolf

Miatta's POV

Group Blue worked together in silence, mindful of where we were but my thoughts were scattered in various directions. Addy's words, all she had told me about being in heat had all manifested when I had been with Luke. At last, she had asked to know the events of the previous night:

“Miatta...why do you ask? What happened last night?” she asked to satisfy her curiosity. 

I was not comfortable with telling Addy things anymore because that Addy was not the Addy I made friends with. The new Addy spent relatively more time speaking with the members of Group Brown. She and their leader had hit it off, mostly seen together.

Ramona suffered from the situation the most, spending her time alone crying or being picked on. I gave her only bits of the main story to whet her appetite for information.
