Sherman POV

My blood was boiling as I stood over Zack’s crumpled form on the floor.

He was holding his jaw, moaning in pain from my punch, but all I could think about was hitting him again.

Leo, my wolf, was howling for more violence after seeing what he’d done to Silvia.

Every muscle in my body tensed, ready to pounce.

My vision tunneled until all I could see was his pathetic form, deserving of so much worse than a single punch.

I stepped forward, aiming to drive my fist into his stomach next, when I felt strong hands grab me from behind.

“Alpha Sherman, stop!” someone shouted, pulling me backward.

“Sherman!” Silvia’s voice pierced through my rage like a silver arrow.

I turned to see two security guards restraining me, their eyes lowered respectfully even as they held me back.

Another guard yanked Zack to his feet.

Blood trickled from his split lip as he glared at me with hatred, though I could smell the fear
