“Silvia? Silvia, are you there?” Noah’s concerned voice crackled through my phone, my knuckles whitened as I tightened my grip.
My entire body had gone rigid.
“Y-yes, I’m here,” I managed to answer, forcing lightness into my tone. “I’m fine, Noah. Just zoned out for a second.”
