Chapter 61. Shandee’s Departure

Silvia POV

I watched as Alpha Sherman’s jaw tightened, his blue eyes darkening with displeasure as he stared at Shandee.

The temperature in the room seemed to drop several degrees.

“Has Silvia eaten anything since breakfast?” he asked, in that distinctive Alpha tone.

Shandee’s confident demeanor instantly crumbled. “II wasn’t sure what she wanted, so I thought I’d wait until”

“I’m not hungry,” I said to Alpha Sherman in a soothing tone, “Don’t be mad.”

I couldn’t stand Shandee, but she wasn’t worth wasting his mood on.

Alpha Sherman’s gaze snapped to mine, softening for just a second before hardening again as he turned back to Shandee.

“Your job is to ensure she eats regularly, especially while taking medication,” he stated flatly. “If you had prepared something and brought it to her, she would have eaten.”
