As Alpha Sherman opened the car door, I felt my heart race with anticipation.

The moment my silver heels touched the pavement, the world exploded into blinding light. Camera flashes erupted around us like supernovas, leaving nothing but white spots dancing across my vision and shadowy figures wielding cameras.
