Chapter 25. It's My Birthday!

Elena's POV.

I had been lying awake for the past three hours, my excitement and anticipation refusing to let me sleep. Finally, the moment I had been waiting for had arrived - my birthday! I couldn't wait to show the world my strength and celebrate another year of life.

As I turned around, I watched the sun rise through my window, its warm rays filling my room with a new light. I jumped out of bed, a huge smile spreading across my face.

Just then, I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I mumbled, still basking in the joy of the new day.

My mother entered, a bright smile on her face, followed by a maid carrying a delicious-looking cake.

They broke into a chorus of "Happy Birthday to You," their voices filling my room with warmth and love.

"Awwn..." I murmured, my hands covering my mouth as I watched them sing. "Thank you so much, guys," I said, my voice filled with gratitude.
