Chapter 30. My Mate

Derek's POV.

"Our mate is in danger," Liam's voice growled in my mind, sending a surge of confusion through me.

I turn around, but there was no one in sight. Yet, her strength was palpable, and it was driving me crazy. Where was she?

I whispered, my ears straining to pick up any sound, but there were no footsteps. No indication of anyone's presence. One thing I'm certain of, my mate was powerful.

I turned to the mirror, and my gaze met my own reflection. The blood was increasing, and I could see the worry etched on my face. I grabbed a tissue and wiped away the blood, my heart racing with anticipation.
