Adelaide's POV

Elena accompanied me down the stairs, but she stopped when we reached the rear door. "Adelaide, you will do fantastically well. Denzel loves you, but the pack loves you almost as much. Just keep in mind to breathe and let things happen naturally. When it is time for you to leave, the guards will open the door. Simply proceed to the step, and Denzel will assist you with the rest." She hugged me again and then went outside to stand with Logan. 

Though anxious, I was prepared. "I guess none of us anticipated finding ourselves in this situation, huh?" 

Ruby giggled a little at my remark. "We now have a future to look forward to, even though I know it was difficult all those years. Adele, I am proud of you and everything you have overcome. You have got this, girl." Ruby's words of support really calmed my anxiety.
