Chapter 28

Adelaide's POV

"Watch out, you three! I wish to prevent any harm from occurring before tonight." I called out to Tiana and Charlotte, the twins, and Ray. The two of them were constantly attempting to catch up with their elder brother. That he is eight years old already is surprising. We are throwing the twins a party tonight as it is their birthday today. Two years passed after Ray's birth before their birth. 

When the pack found out we had twins, they were ecstatic. As with Ray, we kept the girls a secret from both ourselves and the public. The news that I was expecting twins surprised me, but I would not trade them for anything.

They laughed and rushed down the hallway, and I went outside to take care of the decorations. I have mixed feelings about tonight. A werewolf becomes a member of the pack on their sixth birthday, at which point they can mind link with other members of the pack, unlike the lycans at three.
