Chapter 21
Rosalie was gone, perhaps preparing for their outing. He hurried into the bathroom to take a long bath. He dried his ink-black hair thoroughly and, feeling completely at ease, strolled back into his bedroom, a bath towel slung loosely around his waist.
Sensing that there was someone in his bedroom, he tensed in his movements. It was obviously not his rose, too. He removed the bath towel from his head gradually, and as he turned to face the person in front of him, he recognized Teri as one of Rosalie's maids. How strange!
"Teri, are you lost?" He was not in the mood for her company and asked her coldly. He was quite wary of her when Rosalie told him about the jealousy of the female. An envious woman was a hazardous foe to all involved.
"I returned your clothes that were with Rosalie, my prince. She is no longer in need of them. She said in a leveled voice, "They are all cleaned, ironed, and washed.
