Chapter 63

Zeila's POV

Unnoticed, I watch Fiona while Fred conducts a harem inspection tour. After swimming a few laps, she exits the pool, makes her way to a lounger, and stretches. 

Subsequently, she took a bath towel, wraps it around her body, and enters an apartment. Fred is watching the scene from a distance, his eyes bulging with need. He turns to face me and smiles lovingly when Fiona leaves. 

"She just ignores me, as you can see. She doesn't realize that I've been saving her from Derrick's control for more than a year, and she is ungrateful. He constantly asks me about her, but I can't have her sleep with my friend and Alpha since I know she's my mate. I'm putting my life in danger for her sake and she doesn't even know that. That's what mates do for each other."
