Rosalie's POV

"I am searching for my destined mate, Alpha Regan. "Is she taking shelter in your pack?" Derrick asks. With his arms crossed, Fred stands behind him, both men staring menacingly at the Alpha in front of them. 

"Indeed, she is here." Our host responds, "She was traveling to White Moon to visit her parents' pack." Fred takes a step nearer, and Derrick's eyes seem to shoot fire. However, Alpha Regan does not waver. "Well, she can only approach you if she wants." He gestures to the man in front of him, saying, "She will have to step out of my pack herself. I'm not holding her captive here, she's my guest as long as she wants to stay." 

Now Derrick gives a mewling growl.

"It's evident according to the Lycan laws, Alpha, that fated mates are meant to be together. I am completely entitled to her. Goddess, bring her here!" Now he roars. The noise terrified the birds in the trees behind the pack house.
