Rosalie's POV

Zeila and I both exclaim, "What?! How could you, Fiona?" simultaneously. Fiona has put us in a great deal of danger, confirming our worst fears.

"Fiona, are you saying that you had sex with the mate of the alpha who gave us shelter? She might have murdered you, girl! Oh my goodness, try once again to employ common sense." I cry out in rage. 

However, the woman only gives me a naive stare. "The Alpha has the option to decline and consider his mate on his own. I'm not the one who is mated. He should have declined. Did you witness him consoling me at the gate?" She mentions.
