Chapter 18

“Hmmn, this feels amazing!” Mona mused inhaling the fresh air that surrounded the orchard. She had rushed through her food to get escape from the room.

Sansan smiled, glancing towards a happy Mona as she picked the berries. Plucking a strawberry, she handed it to her.

“You should taste this,” she said, giving it to her.

Mona dipped it into her mouth, moaning as she savored the taste. “This is really good.”

“You would love to have more of it, do you like jam?”

Her eyes shone brightly like a child. “Yes, I do. You intend to make one?”

“For you. That is if you want it.”

“I would love it.” Jumping excitedly, Mona hugged Sansan tightly with tears lacing her eyes. “I know what you are trying to do. And I am really thankful for it.”

Sansan patted her back. “Everyone deserves an ounce of happiness. No one should be deprived of it.”

“Thank you.” She sniffed.
